| Each program has subtle
differences in the curriculum that we offer. Parents are free to choose the program that
not only works best for them geographically but where possible can select a program that
suits their player. Some of our programs are designed based on past demand for
emphasis on a particular skill or program. |
| Ages and Caliber |
| Players must be at
least 8 years old and playing AA hockey for our level one programs. Please note each camp
may have set ages and calibers due to variance at location, so please check the camp
outline for additional information. These camps are
extremely demanding and players must be able to handle advanced caliber drills. The
emphasis on these programs is on intensity, 30 hours working on individual skills. |

| Semi-Private (2:1 Student / Teacher
Ratio) |
| This one-of-a-kind class is only available in
Toronto!
Featuring just 12 students and 6 instructors, this class provides an absolute unique
learning environment. Five hours of on ice instruction daily plus one additional
private lesson (1 instructor-1 student). Two students per instructor allows for
detailed teaching, observation and correction. Focus will be on all facets of individual
skill development including power skating, shooting, puckhandling, passing, checking and
scoring.

first-served. |

| Small Group (3:1 Student / Teacher Ratio) |
| Only available in
Toronto and Stamford. With only 18 students and 6
instructors, this class will feature in-depth individual skill development teaching in a
small group atmosphere. Detailed instruction will focus on
power skating, shooting, puckhandling, passing, checking and scoring. A 3:1 student /
instructor ratio guarantees the individual attention that is so important for quick
improvement!
Program
includes one additional private lesson (1 instructor-1 student). |
| Special Development (4:1 Student / Teacher Ratio) |
| Only available in
certain locations ... Some programs are for defense or forwards only ... please refer to
program listings for details! A limit of 20 students and 5
instructors ... this class focuses on a variety of skill development. Class instruction
will focus on power skating, shooting, puckhandling, passing, checking and scoring as well
as some game concepts. The 4:1 student / instructor ratio allows for individual analysis. |
| Advanced Defensemen |
| For the serious player only! A
demanding course, designed to take the defenseman to a new level of play. Challenging
techniques will sharpen the individual skills for defensive skating, puckhandling,
passing, shooting, checking, shot blocking, etc. Main focus of game concepts will be on
improving skills such as rushing the puck, creative play making, controlling the power
play and understanding defensive concepts. |
| House League Skill Development |
| This program will develop the hockey
skills of house league players and lift them to a level required for more competitive
play. Focus will be on the skills of skating ... using edges, balance, agility, pivoting,
speed and acceleration, techniques of puckhandling, passing and shooting. Students will be taught
the proper techniques as well as developing a better understanding of the individual
skills. One year of playing experience is a must! |
| The Ultimate Scorer |
| Enjoy this program of scoring, scoring
and more scoring. Learn all the facets of how to score ... we will teach you how to deke,
tip pucks out of the air, deflections, passing & puckhandling, fake shots,
wrap-arounds, quick shots and much more. Detailed instruction and in-depth
analysis of slap, wrist, snap and back hand shots combined with hours of repetition will
guarantee immediate results! Remember ... scoring is a skill that is learned! |
| Advanced Game Concepts & Skills |
| For those players who want to improve
their understanding of game situations from both an offensive and defensive point of view.
Break-outs, fore-checking, back-checking, power play formations, penalty-killing, specific
zone coverages, creating scoring chances and many more similar topics will be covered. Includes a number of
controlled scrimmages and game-like situations. A fun-filled week of learning! |
| Advanced Forward Skills |
| This program is geared to improving
both the individual skills and concepts of becoming a better forward. Proper positioning,
break-out tips, face-offs, shooting, passing, puckhandling, playmaking, fore-checking,
back-checking, offensive and defensive responsibilities head a long list of topics that
will be covered. For wingers and centres! |
| Advanced European Power Skating and Skills |
| Using a combination of European and
North American training techniques that include the use of innovative equipment. Hockey Tech
International's skating programs are a must for every student who strives to become a
better player! Emphasis will be on developing and improving the individual skill of every
player. This class will stress solid skating fundamentals such as inside and outside edge
control, balance, agility, quick footwork, power, speed, quickness, acceleration and
co-ordination. Puckhandling, passing, deking, shooting, checking and protecting the puck
drills will challenge each student's skating abilities. |
