Hi, my name is Bob Stoker. I'm married to Helen, and we have two wonderful children - a daughter Abigail and son John.

My Guide Dog - a Labrador Retriever called Peggy - was trained by Dave Wilde at the Bolton Guide Dog Training Centre.

Every Guide Dog was young once! Not enough is known generally about the "Unsung Heroes" who donate their time and homes to Guide Dog puppies in order to shape and mould their behaviour before they are sent off to the Associations many training centres, much in the same way as our parents gave us a headstart before starting school.	*Peggy*

A Poem for my Dog

Rock 'n' Roll Dog

There lives a Guide dog whose name is Peggy
Her taste in music does not include Reggae.

No, Peggy is definitely a Rock 'n' Roll dog
She thinks she's the original Elvis's "Hound Dog"

When she barks and dances to "Rock around the Clock"
You can tell that she's the "Real King of Rock"

Now you've probably heard that Elvis is dead,
But that's a mistake so don't be misled,

He's not dead that's all in the mind,
He's really working as a "Guide Dog For The Blind"
